Favorite Medill Memory

“The most memorable part of my time in the MSJ program was our Medill Explores trip to New Orleans and Louisiana. From trying oysters for the first time, to reporting on fishing and coastal communities, to meeting activists and organizers on the ground, the trip was particularly rewarding. It was an honor to hear and tell the stories of Louisiana’s local communities. While each Explores visit is different, the trip offers a unique opportunity to experience new places and cultures.”
