Favorite Medill Memory

“I spent a month living in Provincetown, MA, as part of my embedded reporting. I love Cape Cod, and I met some amazing people. I went out on boats to help retrieve ghost gear from the bay and participated in beach cleans. It was great to use my background in marine conservation, but I also got to learn a lot about the commercial lobster fishing industry. A highlight of my trip was getting to see an endangered North Atlantic right whale!”
