Favorite Medill Memory

“My favorite memory in the MSJ program was getting to do the Medill Explores program and travel to New Orleans and the Louisiana Gulf Coast for a social justice journalism reporting trip. I got to cover the state of education among Native American tribes, and the school closures caused by Hurricane Ida. I really enjoyed that experience and it was one of my favorite stories I’ve done.”
